Dear Friend:

I’m Dr. Daniel Thomas. When it comes to your guarding your health, this website contains some of the most important information you will have ever read. It could save or dramatically improve your life or the life of someone you love.

Did you know that cardiovascular health is one of the best measures of overall health? In other words, if you are cardiovascularly healthy, not only is it unlikely that you will ever have a heart attack or stroke, it is also unlikely that you will develop high-blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, or Alzheimers. Furthermore, people who are cardiovascularly healthy tend to have more physical energy, more mental vigor, get sick less often, have less aches and pains, and live much longer.

As is stands now, here are the facts:

  • Cardiovascular disease (heart attacks and stroke) is still the Number #1 Killer of Americans.
  • Over 1,000,000 people die each year due to cardiovascular disease.
  • Every 60 seconds someone dies of a heart attack.
  • Heart attacks kill more people than the next 4 causes of death combined (including cancer).
  • Sudden Cardiac Death accounts for 300,000 deaths each year.
  • It’s not just adults anymore. Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) now starts in childhood (click here)!
  • Unless you know what to do (more about that later), the statistics say that you will likely die before your time due to cardiovascular disease.

Now here are the facts that you (and your doctor) may NOT know: Half of all people who die of heart attacks have normal cholesterol levels. That's right. Normal cholesterol! Just because your cholesterol is normal does NOT mean you aren’t at risk for cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, just because you may not be overweight, diabetic, have high-blood pressure, smoke, or have no family history of cardiovascular disease, does not mean you aren’t at risk. You may have a ticking time-bomb inside you and not even know it. Thousands of Americans do, but they find out too late. You DON’T have to be one of them! Early AND PROPER detection is the key.

Chances are, your doctor has checked your blood pressure and cholesterol, and may have even performed an EKG (electrocardiogram), but that alone is not enough. For true peace of mind, I’m going to tell you about a test called Digital Pulsewave Analysis that, along with the proper blood work and the proper interpretation, can determine your risk for cardiovascular disease better. Much better in fact. And most importantly, I’m going to tell you about natural (non-drug) ways that can help reverse cardiovascular disease should you need it.

Digital Pulsewave Analysis

We now know that maintaining elasticity (flexibility) in our arteries throughout life is of the utmost importance, and that it directly affects our overall cardiovascular health. Atherosclerosis is a disease of the arteries that literally means hardening of the arteries. When arteries lose their flexibility and become stiff (hard), it can lead to heart attacks and stroke. We now also know that too much consistency in our heart rate (less variability) can be deadly. You may think of a regular heart rate as a sign of good health, but in healthy people, resting heart rates should have slight variations. For this reason, low variability in heart rate is highly predictive of increased risk for cardiovascular disease and premature death.

The Digital Pulsewave Analyzer is an advanced and FDA-approved device that measures Arterial Elasticity and Heart-Rate Variability. The test is non-invasive and does not produce any risk or discomfort, and takes less than 10 minutes to perform. Information from the Digital Pulswewave Analyzer is unique and CANNOT be obtained from a blood pressure reading, an electrocardiogram, treadmill stress test, echocardiogram, angiogram, or vascular ultrasound. Blood Tests

Studies have shown that about half of people with heart disease have low cholesterol, and half of people without heart disease have high cholesterol. Dr. Uffe Ravnskov, MD, PhD, who wrote the book The Cholesterol Myths, goes through study after study destroying the myth that high cholesterol levels are the cause of heart disease. So why does this myth continue to hang on so long? Perhaps pharmaceutical companies have a lot to gain by keeping this belief alive. Statin drugs such as Lipitor, Mevacor, and Zocor are mega money makers. Scientists arent saying that cholesterol is unimportant. What they are saying is that are other things in the blood that may be just as important to consider. Unfortunately, those other things are not routinely checked by doctors. What are they? They are C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen.

Studies have now shown that chronic inflammation is a not only a powerful risk factor for cardiovascular disease, but also for other diseases including cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimers. C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen are normal components of blood, but when the levels are elevated, it tells us there is excess inflammation in the body. Those people who have high cholesterol but dont die of cardiovascular disease often have low levels of C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen. Conversely, those people who have low cholesterol but still die of cardiovascular disease often have high levels of C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen.

Where Can I Get These Tests?

You can get a Digital Pulsewave Analysis along a blood test that checks Cholesterol, C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen at my office below. The investment in your health and longevity costs only $699 (or $999 for two people). This cost includes an hour of my time to review your results, answer any questions you may have, and make specific recommendations including natural (non-drug) vs. traditional (drug) treatments. The good news is that the natural treatments I’ll recommend are quite effective in improving Arterial Elasticity and Heart-Rate Variability, as well as reducing Cholesterol, and reducing chronic inflammation and lowering C-Reactive Protein, Homocysteine, and Fibrinogen levels. The cost also includes 6-month follow-up Digital Pulsewave Analysis and blood tests.

Insurance companies will sometimes reimburse a portion of your cost, but if they don’t, please understand that they do not care about you as an individual. They are giant corporations designed to maximize profits for shareholders and give generous salaries to their executives. NEVER let an insurance company decide what is best for you. You owe it to yourself and your family to protect your health. Give yourself the gift of a long and vigorous life by taking this opportunity to determine your TRUE state of cardiovascular health (and thus overall health). Take Control of Your Health

Poor health should not be the inevitable consequence of getting older, and good health should never be left to chance. Most diseases, if detected early, are treatable with lifestyle and dietary changes, and medication only when indicated. Early diagnosis can reduce the harmful effects of disease. Our Digital Pulsewave Analysis and blood tests are your opportunity to obtain vital information that can better detect the Number #1 Killer: Cardiovascular Disease. For peace of mind, you owe it to yourself and your family to protect your present and future health.

Wishing you good health,
